A word on the title of this blog

Recently I have become interested in repetition. Recently, I have become interested in repetition. It began with a piece of work also called 'Iterative Architecture', a splicing of JG Ballard and James Bond. This has become the centrepiece for a critical porject Ihave called 'Frequencies' which takes in all manner of forms and modes that experiment with repetition, with iteration: geometric, algebraic, combinatory, metaleptic, procedural, looping.
  • Science fiction by the New Wave, by JG Ballard, Michael Moorcock, Brian W. Aldiss
  • Postmodernist fiction by Kurt Vonnegut, Thomas Pynchon, Donald Barthleme, John Barth, Harry Mathews
  • Experimental fiction by William Burroughs, the OuLiPo, the Warren Commission
  • Tape experiments by William Burroughs, Kontsantin Raudive, Richard M. Nixon

I have a plan, but who knows where this goes.
